Who I Can Work With
I work with teens age 16 and above as well as adults for individual and family therapy. The concerns that bring you to therapy will help us decide whether we do individual, family or in some cases group work together. I also will work with school staff to help with school success. I do not provide couples counseling.
First step: Call for a Consultation/Schedule Appointment
Call me and we can talk about your concerns and why you want to come to therapy. I will be able to answer questions about how I work with people with your concerns. We can then schedule an appointment and I will take your insurance information. Before your appointment I will let you know what your benefits are and how much each session will cost. All documentation is completed digitally. I will send you a connection to my electronic health record and walk you through filling out forms to start therapy. I'm here to help and have been successful with all clients getting online for therapy.
Second Step: Attend to your First Appointment
At the first appointment, we will complete a mental health assessment to understand what brings you to therapy, clearly define challenges/concerns and strengths/goals. At the end of the session we will talk about treatment recommendations based on solutions you and I create together. Treatment recommendations will include how often you will come in and what we will be working on.
How long does therapy last?
Length of therapy depends upon your needs. We will discuss ending therapy as you progress in the goals we set together.
Call me to find out if I can help you or schedule an appointment. Feel free to send an inquiry via email on the contact page.
